DOES HEAVEN REALLY EXIST?

 The Rapture, up, down and sideways

After the recent “Rapture” nonsense, you probably expected that I would have to discuss this subject since in one way or another it affected the lives of so many people even though it turned out to be a non-event. There were many people who lost all of their life savings, their homes and more importantly, their sense of self-worth or at least whatever sense of self-worth they had left after following an ignorant self anointed prophet with a mental state bordering on the hinterlands of insanity. After all, when you expect Jesus to take you up to heaven to be with him and He's a “No Show”, the fact that he ignored you has to damage your self-esteem if you had any to begin with.

On top of that, after you have sold your home to purchase billboards proclaiming the end of the world and drag other ignorant, gullible and easily influenced people along with you into this self-destructive belief system, you have to feel some guilt. Well, worry not, the prophet has once again re-scheduled “the end of the world” event, the “Rapture”, until October, when all of the millions of saved people in the world will be somehow floated up into heaven, which by the way is UP as opposed to down or sideways if you have seen any of the billboards with arms raised and everyone's gaze focused skyward. The least they could do is grant the God of their beliefs the power to rapture people in all directions. Which brings me to the subject I want to discuss.

No, heaven as you think of it does not exist. Heaven is a place you wouldn't want to live if it really did exist, but don't worry, because there is no heaven, at least not in the sense you have been told, and this is one of those things that I didn't have to tell you. Every reader of these articles intuitively knows that the stereotyped heaven is pure myth. First of all, up, down, left or right are meaningless terms that lose much of their meaning as you leave the earth surface. Up is only significant when referenced to the solid earth, the earth that you stand on. If you were drifting in space, you would be hard pressed to discern up or down and in fact, the words up or down become meaningless.. To the astronauts in the space shuttle, down is the floor of the shuttle that they stand on though the shuttle may be upside down orbiting the earth at the time.

I only mention this to get to the point I want to make, and that is the idea of a heaven somewhere in the sky, on a cloud or behind a rainbow is ludicrous and downright silly. This is one of the concepts that I have told you that you know, but don't know you know, and you are too frightened to challenge the commonly accepted concept of a heaven in the sky. Many of similar Biblical stories are simply that, stories, myths, legends and superstitions originating somewhere in the mists of time and passed on from generation to generation without anyone ever utilizing their one great gift as a human being, and that is the conscious, reasoning and scrutinizing human mind. Which incidentally, is unique to the human species and not an attribute that evolved in the animals, till now. You can now get a glimmering of the arising of the faculty of reason in some species such as the dolphins.

To make things simple to understand the Bible is a collection of ancient letters and stories based on myths and legends, written in many divergent languages by many divergent people and complied into one book after much editing, expunging, deleting and adding to by the early popes into a book that conveyed their beliefs that would be embraced by the early Catholic church. In those days, the church was the absolute authority, the binding glue that held early civilization together, so it's not too unusual to understand that they would make the rules, and the rules were made to give the church control over the populations. Who would dare challenge the rules that described and specified certain sins and laid out the prescribed punishment of eternity in hell. Rhetorical question, of course.

These myths and stories were written in different languages, collected and complied somewhere between 300 and 500 AD and included stories about Jesus and the disciples. As most of you know, or sense, there are some quite true and valid stories of the life and words of Jesus, most written by people who never met him, but were simply repeating stories that they had heard. After centuries, the distortions became so prevalent that it is hard to put much faith in these tales without exercising some discernment. You would be right to say that these early popes, Justinian for one, created the Bible as it suited their needs and the needs of the church at that time, and you are all familiar with the integrity of the popes, bishops and clergy of the Catholic church.

You all know how a story repeated only a few times from person to person can become so distorted that the whole meaning of the story becomes lost in the repetition, so imagine how the Bible, rewritten, edited and translated into hundreds of languages, then edited and deleted could maintain any semblance of the truth of the times after centuries of tinkering by the early popes and scholars. But the good news is that it does in some instances have valuable information if you can burrow down through the clutter. Another problem with understanding the Bible is that Jesus spoke in the vernacular of the times and much of his teachings were spoken in a symbolic way that could be understood by the people of those times that are hard to interpret today.

So, it's not hard to understand that some present unscrupulous religious figures have figured out how to distort and misinterpret otherwise worthwhile parables and lessons of Biblical times for their own motives and greed. Most of these born con-men turned religious teachers were enabled by the advent of television and the internet, where mass communications made it possible for them to mislead thousands through manipulation of Biblical verse to fit their own interpretation and just as every patient needs a doctor, every criminal needs a victim, every televangelist needs a follower (sucker).

These television preachers would put P.T. Barnum to shame when it comes to running scams on their fellow humans. They are experts at what they do and that is to virtually hypnotize their audiences through a variety of stories, incantations, singing and a natural understanding of the needs of those searching for answers in the wrong places. They use catch phrases such as “Sew your seed” (give me your money). And believe me, it's all about money with these folks and they are some of the most creative people on the planet when it comes to bilking believers out of their life’s savings.

They will sell you prayer cloths dipped in the River Jordan (tap water), soil from the Temple Mount (dirt from their backyard), praying over your prayer requests (tossing them in the dumpster), and all of this in the pursuit of their mansions, airplanes, limousines, exotic vacations and every luxury you can imagine at your expense. You know their names well, you will see them on your Television screen every day of the week, and the more you see them, the more people are losing their homes and savings because of their greed.

The destruction of the world concept, the judgement and the rapture was made to order for these charlatans to scam the populations. During the Armageddon and rapture predictions at the dawn of the year 2000, the televangelists had a heyday, everyone of their ilk writing books on the rapture threatening you would be “Left Behind” if you weren't saved. The book stores did a land office business because of the fear instilled by the perpetrators of this fraud foisted on the public.

The early popes learned well the value of instilling fear in the populations and without that same fear that is perpetuated today in most religions, these kind of frauds would not exist. Fear in the hands of these flimflam men turned men of the cloth is used to help them symbolically remove your sins while removing your treasure and they don't lose a nights sleep over the misery they inflict on their followers.

There can be no end of the world as you know it. Worlds do not end, practically speaking, but, and this is difficult to explain, but the world that you are so fond of is not yours alone to destroy. Other reality systems are using the same energy bank that you do to construct their own living world that they then perceive and utilize, the same as you do. What you think of as exclusively your world, is your reality system utilizing the same vast available field of energy that other beings use to construct theirs, these other systems occurring simultaneously in what you would call the same time and space in the universe. You can ruin or destroy your reality system, but the world, the inner construction, will still be a functioning entity of its own nature and will continue to be used by others.

If you destroy, practically speaking, your world (reality system), those who experience this ending, could of course die during the event or if you destroy it over time, like you tend to be doing now with overpopulation, pollution and climate change, there could be a more gradual extinction. As some may think, no god will swoop down from the clouds at the last minute and save the world, saving the righteous and punishing the wicked. You were given a world to evolve in a way to benefit all consciousness, and incidentally, that includes the flora and fauna. It is a serious game you are engaged in and there are no restrictions placed on your actions be they beneficial or destructive. You are given full reign to develop your civilization as you see fit and full freedom to destroy it if you so choose by ignoring the signs that are evident even to the most ignorant among you.

If you destroy your Earth System, another will be put in its place, infused with life's energy force, recycled with new consciousness, and the process will begin all over again, in time terms, with another new stone age. The good news being, the new inhabitants having trace memories of the past civilizations mistakes and their eventual destruction, will utilize this now latent knowledge and develop more rapidly, avoiding the same pitfalls.

I have a question for the followers of Harold Camping the “Rapture guy” and others like him. No matter what you have read, no matter what you have been taught, do you think for a minute that any “Self Respecting God” would destroy a world that He created? I think not. God is not what you think he is, or she is, or it is, but yet, this elusive God is above all a creator, of all worlds not a destroyer of it's own works. But this God of everyone, who in a very real sense, is part of everyone and everything would be destroying a part of himself, and that is unthinkable. God does not stand apart from the world but is found within it, not in some esoteric heaven.

This creator God through entities/souls created your identity, and once an identity is created it cannot be destroyed, diminished or compromised in any way. Once the identity is created, as far as the soul is concerned, it's “Hands Off” and the identity/personality can end their physical life any way it chooses and en mass, any civilization or society can destroy itself, as far is its earth presence is concerned. But the living earth personality is simply earth elements temporarily given life, infused with living consciousness, and those elements must eventually return to the earth one way or another.

If you should continue abusing the planet and end life on earth as you know it, the personality continues on its merry way, rather unconcerned, concentrating its attention on a new adventure to come. Bodies die, identities are forever. Identities are somewhat like your enjoyable little game called “Whack A Mole”, whack it down in one place and it pops up in another. Personalities/identities assume various bodies for various realities, which they create and then inhabit and experience. They are eternal.

This is not a comfortable statement for me to make and may sound a little callous, but physical bodies and physical worlds are expendable and can and will be replaced, although that is not the desirable outcome, and no world, planet, plane or dimension was ever created with destruction in mind. The consciousnesses behind the civilizations involved in these Earthly experiments are immortal and will go on to succeeding successful existences in other places after their life in this one is done.

Finally, when October rolls around and the Rapture believers are once again in the news with arms raised to the skies, eyes trained on the clouds, predicting a new end of the world event, salivating with anticipation, enjoy it for what it is, good entertainment. Unfortunately, because of erroneous Biblical interpretations many will believe these so called prophets and others like him, and many will once again suffer because of incoherent and illogical ranting of Biblical prophesy.

This is a sub-note to the article. You are involved in this Earth life to live it with gusto and learn from the living, not to keep following false teachings and repeating your mistakes. You have all heard this statement; You are a moron if you keep doing the same thing and expect different results.

How can you say we subconsciously cause ALL our problems so if your house gets robbed and your husband gets shot in the process you subconsciously asked to be robbed?!

Sorry dude, EVERYONE knows some bad things do happen to good people. If you genuinely believe people cause themselves to suffer sexual abuse or crime or murder then you need to visit a hospital.

William; As many of you know, I have already touched on this subject matter before, but since this article is by far our most read article around the world, and based on some of the mail I get, I thought it prudent to elaborate on it in more detail. I have included the text from the recent letter I received from a reader, and although the letter is not exactly complimentary to me or the message I have postulated in other articles, and tried to convey, sometimes not as well as I would have liked, the subject matter is difficult to understand, for me and I am sure for you too. I will comment in some detail, simply because this reader expresses thoughts of other readers as well. I will comment as we read through the letter, readers comments being in italics. Finally, I am quite aware that it may seem that I trivialize things here with such short answers, but I attempt to at least give an answer, even though you and I both know a whole book could be written explaining each question, and still it would be insufficient for many people.

Reader; WHY DO BAD THINGS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME? THIS IS GARBAGE.

William; Well, guess I have been accused of worse things than writing garbage, but fortunately I realized the hazards of writing material that is not commonly known or accepted before I began this endeavor, and frankly I anticipated much worse. As I said all along, if I can just make you think and step out of an outdated belief system and look for what lies beyond your present abilities to perceive, then I have succeeded. Bad things happen because you have not yet learned to create good things with the same ease and abandon that you create the bad things. You attract to you what you think about and if you allow yourself to concentrate on negative events, then you will attract and perpetuate negative events in your present life.

Your present is a result of past events, which were projected into their future, which is of course, your present NOW. The past still exists as does the future, which you cannot perceive yet. You in a very real sense, are exquisitely poised on a tightrope called the present. Your focus is intent on maintaining balance on that rope (the present), otherwise you could topple backward into the past. When you are experiencing trouble in your present life, it is customary to look backward into your past to find out the reasons that may have brought on your present difficulty. What did I do wrong, you may ask yourself.

The problem with that approach is that in the “looking back” you are in essence reviewing only past negative events that you think may have caused your present difficulties analyzing them and emphasizing them in your mind, reviewing them to find the suspect event that could have brought on your present problems.

What you are really doing is creating a collection of negativity, and that in itself is enough to influence newly forming events in your present giving them a negative cast. The negative event that you are so concerned about was at one time just one choice among many that existed in your past, that through your thoughts, beliefs and expectations, you actualized into physical reality. The reasons that you would unconsciously do this are many, and requires some introspection if you really want to find the source of your problems. The other more advantageous choices you could have made in your past still exist and changes can still be made from the present.

You create your reality in the moment of NOW and the past, although when reviewed, can sometimes give a good indication as to the reasons for a present condition, but to concentrate on them simply reinforces the negative things that you so much want to get rid of and helps project the present unwanted condition into the future. You must realize then, that the future is created in the NOW and you are not bound by past decisions that brought you to this point. What you think about you give energy to, so you are better off ignoring the problem than concentrating on it and concentrate on what you want to replace the problem, not the problem itself.

Let me give you an example; say for instance you are and always have been in excellent health. You never think about it because it never gives you a problem. It never dawns on you to try and remember what you did in your past to cause your perfect health because you just accept it as a natural attribute of your reality. If you did the same with negative aspects of your life, they would lose their hold on your conscious attention and would begin to dissipate, their effects becoming less prominent.

Reader; SORRY BUT PEOPLE DO NOT CAUSE THEIR OWN PROBLEMS ALL THE TIME.

William; I have never inferred that people cause their own problems all of the time, but I have said over and over again, that many of mankind's serious problems, both personally and en masse are caused by the distortion or blockages of the free, uninhibited and natural flow of creative energy caused by defective or discordant belief systems which to some extent limit your thoughts along certain lines. If your beliefs are flawed, then so will your daily experience be flawed. It is not so much that people “knowingly” cause their own problems, but that by not examining their beliefs they unconsciously allow bad results to materialize in their lives.

Of course, no person consciously or unconsciously courts problems or challenges, but they do create a psychological climate where these kinds of difficulties will likely emerge. A beautiful, healthy flower will grow where the bed is fertile and has the necessary nutrients not only for growth, but for displaying its beauty and it will flourish. Without the necessary nutrients of the growth medium, the flower will be stunted, wilted or deformed.

In the same way, an unhealthy belief system will create an unhealthy bed for the growth of beneficial events in your life and will result in the growth of not the flower or creativity, but weeds arising out of a bed of negativity. Bad things that happen to you are meant to alert you to examine your belief system and find out what went wrong. Generally speaking, a tainted belief system will allow for the creation of negative events in your life because your belief system is the growth medium for physical events. I have heard it put this way but; Bad in, bad out.

William; Yes! But maybe not in the way you think. If you think on a one time life, here today, gone tomorrow, it may be doubly difficult to see the reasoning behind what I say here, but nothing happens to anyone without their unconscious psychological consent and participation, on levels beyond your knowledge of the physical facts involved. This personality may be compensating for something that happened to them in a previous life that you would know nothing about or for some unfortunate occurrence in their early formative years. They may be working though a drama with the rapist that you are totally unaware of, planned long before this life began.

They, the victim and the rapist, may be unconsciously participating in an event that was preplanned centuries ago, to repay past debts or to settle accounts. No one is born unless they want to be born, no one dies unless they are ready to die, and no one experiences major events in their lives that include another person unless they are both aware of the event itself, the consequences and have ample opportunity to back out before the event occurs. And I must tell you that today, you know the time and place of your future death. But it will not be made known to you now.

That is exactly why you read about airplane accidents where several people who were ticketed for the ill fated flight, for one reason or another managed to miss the flight that they were scheduled to take. Of course, they were not consciously aware the they were forewarned about the immediacy of the disaster, unconsciously realized that death did not serve their purposes at this time and created an alternate event that served as a convenient excuse that then superseded the ill fated trip.

Reader; HOW ABOUT A PERSON WHO WAS CROSSING THE ROAD AND GOT HIT BY A DRUNKEN DRIVER?! THE SUBCONCIOUSLY CAUSED THE PERSON TO HIT THEM RIGHT?!?! BECAUSE IT WAS ALL THEIR FAULT.

William; It was not their fault, but it was their choice and was at least partially of both of their making. It was no more their fault than your life is your fault. Fault is a judgmental thing and what you consider a fault I may consider beneficial. Again, there are NO accidents, and let me emphasize, although it is not easy to explain, but even the seeming unexpected accident such as you describe is not really accidental and both parties had advance ample warning and time to change the outcome if they so desired. You and I do not know the circumstances involved that would cause someone to want to exit their lives in such a tragic way, but some would prefer that kind of quick death rather than lying in a semi comatose state in a hospital bed for years with tubes protruding from every orifice keeping them alive.

There is no fault in events that include more than one person, no matter the motives or outcome. Both are drawn toward the future probable event for their own reasons, and in a very real way, you could say that in the case you refer to, the victim was looking for a way out of this life and the driver was attracted to the event, unconsciously becoming a participant for reasons of which he had no advance conscious knowledge. It is also true that no one participates in a war, a flood, a hurricane, a plague or in any mass event unless he is in some way in agreement with the goals and aware of the lessons that can be learned from participation in that kind of event. If they did not at least sub-consciously agree, then they would be many miles away when the disaster occurred.

William; The perpetrator and the victim attract each other. On another tact here, anyone who covets a valuable possession, carries a weapon to protect the valued possession, goes to extremes to protect something, will attract the perpetrator before the person who lives next door, who may also own valuable possessions, but does not worry about it and does not lock his door. When you value something so much that you worry to protect it, somewhere, sometime, the criminal will be drawn to you to take if from you. Again, you might say it's all about attraction.

William; Lets get to the nuts and bolts of the discussion. “There are no accidents”. Bad things do happen to good people and those you would consider bad people too. If you concentrate your thoughts on bad things that happened to you in the past, then you will drag similar propensities into the present. On the other hand, there is no pre-destination either and no event is set in concrete and beyond change. In that respect, even the past can be restructured, to help influence the present.

As a personal note to the Reader, which I have never mentioned to anyone before, I wouldn't be caught dead in a hospital, (smiling), I don't go to doctors and I have never taken a pill. I don't get sick. Good health has always been my personal protected area that I psychically defend against all those pesky little viruses and critters. And furthermore, if for some impossible reason I did get sick, I wouldn't go to a hospital.

WHAT IS YOUR PROTECTED AREA?

 To many people the world is a dangerous place, a place full of pitfalls and challenges with danger lurking around every corner. To them the world is a place of many perils, a world of survival of the fittest and one is in constant danger of falling prey to any number of dangerous individuals, organizations or hostile countries as well as those pesky little viruses on a more personal basis that are everywhere just waiting to attack your health.

It sometimes seems there is no time to relax and let your guard down without leaving yourself susceptible to any number of such attacks from countless sources. In the course of a lifetime you will no doubt experience many of these, weather the assault and emerge better for the experience. There is no system of reality, even the most sophisticated that is devoid of challenges. You might think that as you evolve and advance in your psychological and spiritual awareness, your life would become better and better, problem free, have perfect health and a complete understanding of the universe and all that lies within, but that is not the case.

Healthy, wealthy and wise. Not so much. All of these will to some extent become more attainable in succeeding lives, but for even the most advanced entities, there are always emerging challenges, new problems to be solved, new realities to be experienced and new worlds to explore.

As you progress, learn and become more aware and gain knowledge, you might think that you will some day arrive at a perfect state of being. Not so, even though accumulation of knowledge and progress is the purpose behind the evolution of consciousness, to become more aware of your total identity, learn to operate in a multi dimensional universe and hold your own stability while being involved in many events simultaneously, experiencing many realities while never losing site of your true identity.

Reality never ends and there are those who have gone before and shown the way, but even the Godlike entities do not know everything there is to know and are seeking at their own level, as you are seeking at yours. God itself is not in what you would understand to be a state of perfection, and you should be thankful that that is the case, because “perfection” presupposes a goal already attained, a journey completed, a state of being done, and All That Is, is never done. When what is now considered a “state of completion”, a “state of perfection” is reached, another pathway appears and a new journey begins, for gods and men. And because this is the case, there can and will be no end to the universe and your world.

Although problems and challenges are the driving force behind all realities in your dimension and others, you do have certain areas of your consciousness and your physical life that are untouchable by unfortunate events of a certain kind. Each person creates his own reality and participates with all other consciousness, which incidentally includes all living matter, plants and animals, in creating the mass environment and events of the worlds civilizations. In all of this creative abundance, including what you might consider minor personal events and mass events that you would consider as cataclysmic, there are special areas that you maintain as personally unassailable, areas that in a way will always be protected by you against any onslaught, physical or psychic.

These protected areas of course are different with everyone, but if you examine your life as it impinges on all aspects of your everyday experiences in the temporal world, no matter how bad some aspects of your life may be, you will find there will be one area, maybe more, in which your goals and expectations are being met satisfactorily. These will usually be areas that you don't notice, that you rarely think about since they do not rise to the level of conscious attention precisely because they present you with no problems.
Let me give an example; You may have financial difficulties, friends may desert you, you may lose your home, wreck your car, you may get divorced, but you will always enjoy perfect health. I don't need to carry this any further, but you know what I mean and you can look at your own life with some discernment and discover those areas that you hold dear and and free from life's difficulties.

In a sense, in those areas that you protect, your beliefs are in line with your inner self, your inner being, and you are operating in a kind of psychic cruise control. You may lower your guard and accept seemingly negative challenges in other areas, to the point that you seem to be inundated with bad luck, karmic payback, attacks from friends and foes alike from all corners of your personal world. You may feel like your life is a disaster in some areas, but take notice, “you will protect yourself in at least one area”. Check it out.

There will always be this one area in all of your life which you hold dear and protect against all assaults, both physical and psychological, and you will be surprised how easy it is to identify that area. Consider; What in your life are you happy with? What part of your life experience operates so smooth that you rarely give it your attention because of its existence usually operates below your conscious radar?

You could say that your temporal life is a symptom of your beliefs, a result of your inner state of being, so you can rest assured that in those areas of your life that are positive and productive and where you meet with success and fulfillment, your beliefs are in concert with the rhythms of the universe. If you take the time to consider what I have said here, it can be of some value to you in other aspects of your life to discover that area that you have unknowingly protected, sometimes for longer than you would like to recognize. The realization alone that you have such an area, should lead you to the conclusion that if you have done this in one area of your life, you can do in other areas too.

There are countless reasons why you made the unconscious decision to hold one “protected area” as a refuge against all adversaries, real or unreal, physical or non-physical, and we shall discuss these reasons in other articles. The main point it that when you realize that you did it once, you can apply it to other areas of your life and do it again. There are NO LIMITS TO CONSCIOUSNESS except the limits that you “Self Impose” on yourself. There is no god, no entity, no soul that places limitations on your consciousness. You do accept some limitations and impose them on yourself before your physical birth, but those do not apply here.

You live in a world of opposites, at least you believe you do, so you have trained yourselves to expect bad as a natural result when good has been recently experienced. Because there is black, there must be white, because there is up there must be down. There simply is no requirement for you to experience tragedy just because you have recently experience exultation.

Your experience may seem utterly convincing to you as being true reality because your reality that you encounter day to day seems to prove it out, but you are experiencing your BELIEF about reality and not reality itself. That is why it is so hard to change your life when it seems bad, because when you look at your life experience, it presents itself pretty convincingly as the true reality, when what you are experiencing is your belief ABOUT REALITY made real by your beliefs materialized in atoms and molecules. And why shouldn't you, since you create your reality in the first place and then experience it.

There is one way and one way only to make lasting changes in your life and that is by changing how you think and what you believe about your life. If you believe everything you see, you must keep repeating the same thing over and over again. You have protected one area without knowing it, but now you can begin to use this knowledge to improve other areas of your life.

Remember this! What you experience in life is not necessarily true reality, but your beliefs about reality made physical and they just could be distorted or flat out wrong beliefs. So, change what you think and believe and you will change your life.
