DO ANIMALS REINCARNATE?

Since I tried to shed some light on the idea of animal souls in my last article, I thought it might be a good idea to dive a little deeper into "Animal Experience" as it pertains to reincarnation. I realize that there are many who are not sold on the idea of reincarnation in humans, so for those of you who do not accept the idea of the continuance of life after death, this material will be of little or no value. For those who understand or at least intuitively feel the truth in the concept of the inevitability of eternal life, you will find that you already know much of what is said here. And NO, it is not too good to be true.

I have often said that in many cases, my purpose is not to teach, but to remind you of knowledge that you already have access to and have forgotten or that you are not consciously aware. You reincarnate whether or not you are aware of it and whether or not you consciously approve. There is nothing you can do to negate the process of continuing consecutive lives, and if you have found yourself interested in the material discussed on this site, you are already living a reincarnated life. First timers simply would not be interested.

Having said that, and after discussing the attributes of the animal soul, I think this is the appropriate time to add this information. Many animal lovers will not be surprised to learn that animals are smart, not smart in the sense of intellectual prowess, but in the sense of natural leanings, a close connection with the environment, the earth consciousness and an inner sense of the transition of the life spirit, that is somewhat masked to the human species at this time.

There is a vast difference even within the animal kingdom in how the species developed and in what areas their attention is focused. You cannot learn much from studying the various species that you capture and enclose in a zoo or aquarium, since the very captivity itself causes a change of behavior patterns of the animals that renders their reality beyond any kind of meaningful understanding of their true characteristics. You can also not learn anything about the true nature of animals by killing and dissecting them.

On the other hand, there are some species of which you are very familiar that have adopted a symbiotic relationship with humans and have evolved to share the human world while retaining some peripheral connection to their previous natural environment. They have not totally forsaken the forests for the sofa in your home, but they have put their previous natural leanings aside to adapt to a new kind of nature within man's domain. This is not so much as you might think, a degraded form of animal reality, but a newly forming animal reality.

I should also mention that animals still focus on a totally different type of reality while still adapting to a more domestic view of reality than their other cousins still roaming in the wild, whatever wild there is left for them to roam. But that's another story.

Cats, dogs and some other species have made this transition rather nicely and given the choice would not even consider to going back to stalking and killing their food for survival. As you may have noticed, especially with cats, they have still retained the habitual stalking and killing of their prey (mice and birds, to name a few), even though they may have no thought of eating them. With them it is instinctual and the more they are permitted access to the outside environment, the longer they will retain those leanings.

I have said this so many times that I am sure if you are a regular reader you may say "enough already", but I persist, since this is such an important point that I don't want it misunderstood, as it has been for centuries.

"All consciousness comes from the SAME SOURCE, and therefore all consciousnesses are of the same quality. The consciousness of a human and the consciousness of an ant are equal in value. The real differences between even different animal species and animals and men/women is in the differentiation, meaning the level of evolved self-awareness.

Animals to the most part operate in a more generalized way, with a limited self-awareness and they do not develop what you as humans do, a personification of identity. They do not possess the ability to contemplate their ("I"ness), to use the imagination to solve problems, to think; they do solve problems, but they do it without what you would call the use of the intellect.

All plants, insects, birds, animals and for that matter, even the electrons and atoms that form your organs are aware of their existence and possess a more generalized view of self-awareness. There is nothing that is materialized that does not possess some degree of consciousness, and as an aside, if the animals were to disappear from the planet, mankind would also disappear. But that is one of those things that you already KNOW, but may have forgotten, and I intend to discuss that in some detail in the future.

The earth, as you know it only exists because of the existence of all of its living species and all of the probable species that have ever existed waiting in abeyance. The probable dinosaurs still exist in a probable reality, and so do all other species that you think are extinct. In earth history, some classifications of living self-aware consciousness carry more traffic at one time or another; they are waiting for times when the conditions are right for their reemergence.

You have been taught that the human species is at the top of the pile of consciousness, but that is only true in the level of differentiation and nothing more. This difference in differentiation is not the result of the time factor in the process of evolution, but of conscious choice made by the various species of animals.

In other words, in the early days of planet earth, consciousness went through what could best be called a sorting-out process, where each adopted the most appropriate form that would bring forth the most desirable personal physical focus that would allow for the maximum fulfillment and satisfactions for each species in line with their inherent characteristics. Dogs then, chose to be dogs; fish chose to be fish and so on.

To stay on the same track, there is no reality that includes transmutation of species, and no matter what you have been taught, that is another one of the ingrown tidbits of knowledge that is latent within your genes at birth and is known by your subconscious and your inner self. Dogs will never reincarnate into humans and neither will humans reincarnate as cattle.

It only makes sense, since all consciousness is on an equal footing when it comes to quality, then it follows that if human consciousness reincarnates, so does animal consciousness. Humans always reincarnate as humans. Mammals reincarnate as mammals, allowing for changes of species within the classification of Mammalia. Fish will reincarnate as fish, birds as birds. An eagle may be reborn as a sparrow, a flounder as a minnow. That's enough of that; you get the idea.

All consciousness continues through one or another processes. Consciousness, of whatever level, is eternal and provisions always exist for the continuation of even the smallest unit of consciousness with no exceptions.

This insures a wide variety of experience, which is what the soul/entity desires.

Human beings, possessing a more personified type of consciousness than animals, are usually quite specific when making reincarnational life choices, including deciding on future parents, future race, gender and locations where that life will be lived, or at least begun. Changes can be made, but generally, if you are fond of your present parents, you may choose to experience another life with them, the relationships will be changed of course. Same family groupings are common, where father becomes a daughter in the next life or other changes in gender or family roles.

Animals experience life in a more generalized way and are aware of more or less happy, loved and content lives or unhappy, unloved and unfulfilled within their animal potentials. They do not deal in specifics as do humans, but a domestic animal for instance, having experienced a life with a human that they were fond of and content with, will follow it's instincts to return to the past satisfying life situation.
We are speaking here of domestic animals, dogs and cats primarily.

They do not plan to specifically return to the home of good old Bob and Grace in their comfy little bungalow on the corner of 5th, and Elm streets in Oswego, but driven by their instincts to replicate a happy past existence, will sometimes reincarnate in the same neighborhood where their past experience was fulfilling to them.

For this reason it is not unusual for previous owners to find, in one way or another, a new animal addition to the family shortly after losing a beloved pet. The new pet need not particularly look like the recently dead animal, but sometimes the characters will be remarkably similar. Humans can sometimes wait for hundreds of years before reincarnating where animals, not having to deal with the compartment of the ego and not subject to the number of choices that the human species must make, move easily between lives with much impatience. It is not uncommon for a departed pet to reincarnate within a few days or weeks of his previous death.

There are reasons for these things that are hard to explain, but generally there is a psychic attraction between animals and their loved owners, as there are with humans, that transcends the apparent separation between life and death, and they will be drawn together, following each other into new life situations.

A newly reincarnated pet could perhaps be born in the same neighborhood by a stray mother cat, the litter of kittens found and taken to an animal shelter, where a previous owner who will adopt them will unconsciously discover them.

So, if you are mourning the death of a favorite pet, keep your eyes open and follow your instincts and you may be surprised what or who you find or who will find you.

There is something else that should be mentioned about the mixing of consciousness where animal, men and earth spirit meet.

When a human or an animal dies, which all living consciousness must do, the cells and other bodily components are returned to the earth where they originated. Plants grow and assimilate the same elements that were once part of humans and animals. They are then eaten by other humans and other birds and animals, so in a diffused sort of way, the cellular consciousness of all are intermixed throughout the world of physical matter. In this way, all remain separate identities, but the individual consciousness carries the imprint of all other living species.
When you think about it, it's a beautiful thing.

A fascinating discussion is definitely worth comment. There's no doubt that that you ought to publish more about
this topic, it may not be a taboo subject but typically folks don't discuss
these subjects. To the next! Kind regards!!

Thank you so much for the nice comments. Anyone who appreciates this material also knows that love, whether it be between humans or humans and their animal pets, is the strongest uniting force within the universe, and because of this quality that we call love, planets form into galaxies, supernovas happen, comets speed by and consciousness is eternal.
